Porsche Lease-End Process
You will receive several communications from Porsche Financial Services before the end of your lease. 180 days prior to your lease-end date (Details of the lease maturity date are found in your lease agreement or extension agreement if applicable), you will receive a brochure to help inform you of your lease-end options. 90 days prior to your lease maturity date, a Porsche lease-end representative will contact you to present your lease-end options. 60 days prior to your lease maturity date, a Porsche lease-end representative will assist you with scheduling a pre-inspection and answer any questions you may have regarding the lease-end process.
If you choose to cash purchase your vehicle, you may obtain a payoff by contacting Porsche Newport Beach. The payoff documents will include an odometer statement which will need to be filled out and emailed to pfs.customerservice@porsche.com. This will ensure your title can be released.
Pre-Inspection & Inspection
Prior to the end of your lease, we suggest having a pre-inspection here at our Service Center. Although it's not required, a pre-inspection provides awareness of any necessary repairs that will need to be made prior to your lease-end date and can help you avoid excess wear charges.
Before your lease is up, you will be contacted by a lease-end representative to assist with scheduling an appointment at the time and location that is most convenient for you. This could be at your home, office, or our Porsche Service Center.
Excess Wear
You'll receive a brochure prior to your lease-end with a list of what is considered excess wear. Some examples include:
- Wheels should not have cracks or scratches larger than 3.5"
- Cracks, chips, or pits to the windshield, body, or paint
- Tires with structural damage or with insufficient tread
- Tears, cuts, or damage to interior components
- Missing components such as keys or the owner's manual
If you do have any repairs completed, please be sure to send in your repair receipt to Porsche Financial Services prior to returning your vehicle so that charges for repaired excess wear may be removed. Once your return your Porsche, it will be inspected by the third-party provider AutoVin to determine any excess wear on your vehicle.
Returning Your Vehicle
Contact Porsche Newport Beach 30 days prior to your lease maturity date to schedule your lease-end vehicle return.
Any after-market modifications will need to be removed, and the vehicle will need to be returned to its original condition at the time of lease origination. Any after-market modifications left on the vehicle at return are subject to charge.
Please bring both key fobs, owner's manual, and all removable options and accessories.
