Meet Our Team

A 37 year resident of Newport Beach, Tim Tauber works to provide an easy, streamlined, and ultimately enjoyable experience for Porsche Newport Beach clients. As General Manager, Tim leads a high-performance sales, management, and technical service team with decades of experience working with German cars. Most of that skill set has been earned directly with the Porsche brand.

A Porsche enthusiast of past and present, Tim's collection includes a 991.2 Turbo S, along with an `87 Slant Nose Turbo Coupe he drives on special occasions.

In his free time, Tim enjoys spending time with his son and daughter, two Labrador Retrievers, and bettering his golf game.

Steve has been with Porsche since 1995. Having been born and raised in Southern California he has always been passionate about the brand. Having been exposed to the 911's at an early age when collecting Match box cars they were always his favorite. His hobbies are Traveling, Photography and Motorsports.

Alex has been a valued member of our team since 2010. Started working at a Porsche store in high school back in 2005 to understand the product and grow his knowledge of the brand.

When he's not in the office he loves spending time with his family, watching sports, and playing golf.

I have worked for Porsche as a both a GM and Finance Director for 25 years as this April. I have two daughters and live in the Palm Springs area.   

Giovanni has been a Porsche enthusiast since a young child growing up in Italy and comes to us with nearly 20 years of sales and consulting experience in the automotive industry. He has a passion for the brand and prides himself in providing a fun and transparent sales experience to his clients, friends, and family. He's been a Porsche Brand Ambassador for over 6 years and his favorite Porsche models include the GTRS3 and Macan GTS. When he's not in the office he loves spending time with his friends and family, traveling, watching sports, and listening to music

Marton has been a valued member of our team since 2013. Originally from Southern Ontario in Canada, Marton has been a California resident now for over 20 years. With over 24 years of automotive production, racing and sales experience he has a very thorough automotive background.  "I treat my customers the way I would like my wife and family members to be treated. Buying a car should be fun, not a grind, so I will give you the information straight, so  you can make an informed decision"- Marton  And avid Formula 1 fan and Porsche enthusiast, Marton loves to travel with his wife and family. His German shepherd "Wyatt" is usually close by when he is not at work.

Robert Fischer brings 20 years of Sales Experience in the "sports" car industry with Porsche. He currently resides in Southern California and has lived here for 29 years after living in Sweden for 21 years. He currently owns a 993 Porsche and would not trade it for any other car. Being part of the Porsche family has given him such an opportunity to drive and see these amazing cars first hand on the road and on the track.  Over the years I have seen Porsche evolve as a company as well as a Brand and I'm happy that I can be a part of its change. Robert has been a valued member of our team since 2009.

12 years experience primarily in exotic cars. Can't beat the people, the location and the local car culture.

Tommy has been with Porsche of Newport Beach since 1998. Born and raised in Southern California, he moved to Newport beach in 1988. He now lives in San Juan Capistrano with his wife and three beautiful boys. He has 21 years of experience as a Porsche Brand Ambassador.

Apollo has 25+ years experience in the auto industry. Loves Porsche Newport Beach because of the great location.

Mehmet began in the automotive career in 1995, working for Honda. After 6 years with Honda, he worked for Lincoln Mercury Mazda being a finance manager for a couple of years.His true aspiration was to work with German brands especially Porsche. He finally started working for Newport Beach Porsche in 2004. His passion is to create and order the perfect dream Porsche tailored with exclusive options for his clients.

Chris has been a valued member of our team since 2020. Chris has been an enthusiast of Porsche since he grew up on the East coast of Canada, and was introduced to the brand by his father. After college, Chris began working in the automotive industry and gradually moved through the Volkswagen family, before landing at Porsche.  Bringing 11 years of sales experience to our store, Chris looks to make this his home for years to come.

Sasha began selling cars since he was 18 and has a lengthy experience in the automotive field . 

Having an opportunity to hold various positions in the car dealership, including management, he is proficient in relating to the customers needs and providing concise, thoughtful, and beneficial assistance in selecting the perfect option. 

A huge fan of performance cars he is excited to work for such an exhilarating brand like Porsche in a beautiful place like Newport Beach. 

Soheil has been a valued member of our team since 2019.

Born in Ukraine, Lidia has admired the legendary European brand Porsche from a very young age. Her passion for this iconic brand led her to visit the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, a memorable experience that deepened her appreciation for Porsche's rich history in racing motorsports and innovation.

Angelica has been in the car industry for a little over a year. She worked with other luxury brands, but truly enjoys the Porsche Brand. When comparing to other luxury brands, Angelica enjoys Porsches pristine exterior design of the vehicle. She is a huge fan of the 1985 Porsche 911 Cabriolet! When Angelica is not at work she enjoys hiking, going to the beach, and reading.

Chris has been in the car industry for 19 years.  He has worked with many luxury brands, but feels Porsche is the best well designed vehicle in the market. When Chris is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, and golfing. What Porsche likes most about Porsche is their sports cars particular the Cayman GT4. Chris has worked on may vehicles, and Porsche is by far the best sports car he has ever encountered! 

Rick's been in the automotive industry for 44 years. He has been with Porsche Newport Beach for 19 years, and with the brand for 24 years! His years of experience give him great insight to his guests needs and helps him deliver a peerless experience. When Rick is not at work he enjoys mountain biking, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Rick enjoys Porsche's heritage, the quality of their vehicle, and their racing teams! Per Rick, they are a fantastic brand!

Jason has been in the car industry for 22 years. He has been with Porsche Newport Beach for 20 years! His experience in the industry allows him great insight to assisting his guests with their vehicle needs. As a Porsche owner himself he has a great understanding of what exceptional customer service should look like! When Jason is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, and watching sports. His favorite sport is football! What Jason likes most about Porsche is their rich history, and the fact it's a legal race car!

Evan enjoys outdoor activities such hiking and working on motorcycles during his free time. He is a huge dog lover, and currently has a cattle dog named Butter. Working with Porsche has made him a bigger fan of the vehicles, the driving experience, and the way the vehicles handle on the track. Porsche is a great vehicle, and the only vehicle that he knows of that is a legal race car for the streets.

Laura has been in the car industry for 10 years, she has worked with many luxury brands, but she stated Porsche is the ultimate Luxury Brand! When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, and spending time with her friends. What Laura enjoys most about Porsche is how well the vehicles handles! The drive and experience being behind the wheel is like no other car she has seen before! Laura speaks Spanish.

With 15 years of experience in the automotive industry, I've honed my passion for performance and precision in the world of luxury cars. Currently working with Porsche, I have had the privilege of deepening my expertise in one of the most iconic brands in automotive history. While the Porsche 911 holds a special place in my heart, my enthusiasm extends to all classic sports cars, with a particular fondness for the engineering excellence and timeless appeal they represent. Outside of work, I am an avid motorsport enthusiast, following high-speed thrills from Formula 1 to the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans. Currently, I drive a Porsche Macan 4 BEV, blending cutting-edge electric technology with the exhilarating Porsche experience.

With over 16 years of experience in the automotive industry, Simon brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their role as a Service Advisor at Porsche. Having worked in various capacities within the service department, Simon has developed a deep understanding of Porsche's intricate systems, cutting-edge technologies, and high-performance vehicles.

Known for their attention to detail and passion for Porsche's legacy of excellence, Simon is a trusted advisor to many loyal customers who rely on their expert recommendations and commitment to quality. In addition to his technical expertise, Simon has honed strong communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring clients are always well-informed and confident in the services being provided.

When not advising customers, Simon is an avid Porsche enthusiast and enjoys staying up to date with the latest industry trends, attending automotive events, and driving Porsche vehicles to understand their performance from a customer's perspective.

With 4 years of expertise at Porsche, I've combined a deep appreciation for the brand's heritage with a passion for motorsports. As a dedicated Porsche associate, I've gained a strong understanding of both the performance and luxury that define the iconic German marque. My enthusiasm for motorsports particularly Porsche's legendary history in racing fuels my ability to connect with customers and fellow enthusiasts alike.

Sergio has over 19 years in the car industry. Four of those years has been with Newport Auto Center. He enjoys working with Porsche and loves the history and legacy of the brand. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with my wife and three daughters.
